The words she said hit him hard. It'd be so easy. So simple just fallow her and start all over and forget the past. But when Shane looked at Yumaris, it seemed to hard to let it all go. She took his sister from him, and made her a puppet. He could never forgive, or even forget what she had done.

Anya touched his arm to get his attention. Their eyes locked and he intended to tell her what he had come to believe- he doesn't want to be a hero. Or a villain. But a king. Inside, Shane knew he wished to be good. But after what he did, he felt there was no hope. Before he could though, Yumaris ran. Much faster then one would think a little old lady could. Even so, Shane was well aware he could catch up. Reacting, he ran to chase her. But when she was out of sight, he stopped.

Why? Shane would say he didn't think he could navigate the area. In truth, he didn't even know. Until Anya stood next to him.

Looking between where Shane was, and where Yumaris disappeared, the Amaya stood shocked. Confused, she spoke up. "You...you didn't chase after her."

"I..I lost her. There's no way I find her in all this." He said harshly, pushing a branch out of his face angrily.

Almost instantly, her hand found it's way back on to her shoulder. They stood there for a second, Shane with his head hung low and Anya with her hand comfortingly on his shoulder. When he lifted his head again, he saw darkness coming around them. And subconsciously, his tattoo itched.

"Come on, let's go back to the temple. You did the right thing, Shane. Even if you don't think so." She said.  This time, he had no second thoughts about fallowing her. And he swore  he saw a small smile on her face.

Second try at Shya = (moderate) SUCCESS! Spoiler Alert for

I, obviously, wanted Shane to go with her. So, I decided to play around with that idea. He sort of...subconsciously choses to stay. Not really what he rationally wanted to do, but just what he...did. Anya is obviously happy. This scene had to be my favorite. It showed how much Anya knows about him.

Getting better, shippers. Improving slowly but surely. Anya is my only difficulty anymore. Leave it to Nick to give this wonderful- yet complicated character.
