SA(Sec. Gen): Son Of A Hero.

"You know, your father would have been so proud." Lishay said. Smiling so wide one would think her face would split. Tears of joy in the corners of her eyes.

Cheng smiled back as he finished fashioning his cloak. His green cloak. Like his mother Lishay and father Tarik, Cheng had summoned a spirit animal. As it happened, he summoned a snake. A female copperhead, whom had yet to be officially named since their bonding. She hid precariously under his blankets as if waiting for her human partner to be ready for their first training session. So far, they had been getting warmer towards eachother. The snake even had gone as far as to try and bite when he had temporarily denied the right to sleep next to him under covers.

"Really? You think he would?" Cheng asked seriously.  Not passing up the opportunity to have her talk about his father. The few things he knew was that he was a highly respected and loved man, and a hero. And that was mostly from stories the other Greencloaks told him.

The boy knew his mother was not normally comfortable talking about his father. When he asked Rollan, he explained that she loved him vary much and it hurt to talk about loved ones that we lose. For the most part, Cheng had not asked many questions. But today, for some reason, he wanted to know something about this man who was apparently his father.

Lishay decided it was a long time coming. So, she nodded. Taking a comb form his deck, she tried to comb out his unruly black hair. "Oh, he would be so proud of you. Beyond proud. I know you never knew him, and the both of you never met, but he loved you Cheng. Even if he never saw you in the flesh, he loved since I told him I was having you. He died trying to get back to us." She said, stopping her combing.

"I wish I could have meet him..." Cheng said as his mother gave her a little hug. The tears fell form Lishays eyes.

"I do, too. Your father was a great man." She said, smiling now and pulled away. "And your becoming more and more like him, every day."
